About Us

St. Joseph Primary School is a private Catholic school located in Kampala Archdiocese in Uganda, Africa. It was started by a group of Catholic Parishioners from Kyamuswa Parish in 2007. It is a co-ed (Mixed) Day and Boarding school from Kindergarten to Primary Seven (Seventh Grade) supporting mostly children from orphaned families.

The school is situated in a very quiet, clean, safe and peaceful environment conducive for studies. With an excellent group of teachers, the school provides quality education to over 900 children. The school has a well-equipped computer laboratory which offers all children an opportunity to learn computers in this dotcom age. The school offers a variety of sports and develops the children’s talents in Music, Dance and Drama at an early age. Exceptionally, the school offers free dental services to all students on campus.

Enrolment has been growing over the years and continues to do so. We are happy to provide quality education to all children who come to this school as we give them a strong foundation for their future. Most of our children are from families that were hit by landslides in Eastern Uganda, by the 20 year war in Northern Uganda and parents/guardians that lost lives to HIV/AIDS.
